HUNTING TERRITORY: Our hunts are staged in the Peace River country of northwestern Alberta, where rich, animal-populated private lands meet the expansive boreal forest. This unique setting provides the ideal habitat for Canadian moose. Our terrain features swampy willow flats, expansive mature forests, beaver dams, river valleys, and clear cut blocks—all perfect environments for thriving populations of bulls, cows, and calves.

MOOSE HUNTING: In our region, mature bulls typically display antler spans of 35-45 inches, with some reaching or exceeding 50 inches. We have consistently maintained a 40-inch average and are committed to sustainable management practices to preserve the high quality of our moose populations for future generations.

RUT HUNTS: Held from September 24 to October 31, this is a peak time for excitement as cow moose seek out the attention of mature bulls. Accompanied by our highly experienced guides, hunters engage in the artful and patient endeavor of calling moose. Techniques include mimicking a cow in heat or challenging a bull, strategies designed to bring these magnificent animals within range. The experience—from hearing a distant bull grunt to witnessing a bull demolish willows or emerge just 30 yards away—is nothing short of exhilarating. With the right skill and a bit of luck, hunters can make the perfect shot and savor their success, along with the unforgettable stories that each hunt yields.

LATE SEASON HUNTS: Experience our late season hunts for a strategic adventure, guided by experienced professionals. We conduct these spot-and-stalk hunts from either our main or spike camp, based on weather conditions. You’ll explore private lands, cut blocks, and timber fringes in search of bachelor moose groups—from energetic young bulls to older, recovering bulls post-rut. This challenging hunt targets these majestic animals as they rest and recuperate, promising a rewarding experience.
